In Karahıdır Campus, the center of Kırklareli, Electrical Program was established under the name of Electric Program (Secondary Education) within MEB-YOK Project in 2002-2003 academic year. IKMEP program was adopted in 2010-2011 academic year. It has accepted students with additional quota since 2011-2012 academic year. In the Electric Program, 3 + 1 education model will be introduced as of 2019-2020 academic year. Students will take theoretical and practical courses in 3 semesters and practical training in enterprises for 1 semester.

Our mission is to provide the necessary training in the field of vocational subjects in the industry, train Electrical Technicians attached to ethical values as harmonious teamwork and to provide services for the benefit of society.

Our vision is to be ranked as preffered sections in the region and our country.

Electric and Energy Program has two labs arranged as direct current and alternating current measurement laboratory, electrical machinery application group, electromechanical control and PLC applications group, electrical installation, electrical appliance group, board design group. There is a projection system in both laboratories for the visual processing of the courses. As all department members we focus on computer-aided project applications. Electrical installation project is being prepared for our students to have the necessary education and skills. In order to support the theoretical knowledge of the vocational courses with the practice, our students carry out group-based projects as well as laboratory practices.

The students were admitted to the secondary education in the 2002 - 2003 academic year. . In the Electric Program, 3 + 1 education model will be introduced as of 2019-2020 academic year.
